Arts-In-Education provides an opportunity for every child in kindergarten through the 8th grade registered in the Temple and Belton districts, plus other area students, to enjoy two shows by professionally touring artists. Performances blend entertainment with core curriculum subjects for more than 14,000 students during 54 shows each year.

Kidprov destroys the myth that math can't be fun or creative by ushering students into the laughter-enriched environment of improvisational comedy. Fractions leap to life...literally! Mental math goes from chore to challenge. Story problems are given the royal theatrical treatment. And math vocabulary terms become fodder for some pretty outrageous puns. The final answer is...Math + Kidprov = FUN!

This action-filled event blends high-flying demonstrations, silly science and spectacular demonstrations to breath-taking effect. The show is begun with a comic magic bag, but moves into a flattening bottle, a funny tug-of-plungers gag and a set of “inseparable” spheres, all to explain the drama of the air pressure around us.

Author and songwriter Lucas Miller, the “Singing Zoologist,” blends ecology, music, stories, puppets and movement in his dynamic performances for children. With songs about wetlands, monarch butterflies, snakes, porcupines and more, Lucas is know for his clever songwriting and ability to perform in a variety of popular styles. His outrageous songs and interactive tales reveal secrets of ecology in a joyful and often hilarious way.
