Bagpipes and Blarney –Patrick Regan, Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, 7 p.m.
Patrick Regan's Bagpipes and Blarney combines quick Irish wit, dry English humor, well-grounded knowledge of British history and bagpipe lore with captivating music. Regan's versatility, virtuosity and showmanship are guaranteed to make even the most serious Scotsman smile.

Glenn Miller Orchestra-March 12, 2009, 7 p.m. 
Led by musical director Larry O'Brien. Its founder, the legendary Glenn Miller, was one of the most successful of all dance bandleaders in the Swing era of the Thirties & Forties.  His recordings of In the Mood, ChattanoogaChoo Choo, A String of Pearls, Moonlight Serenade and Tuxedo Junction were all major hits. Over sixty years since the public first embraced the successful Miller sound, both the legend and the music still captivate audiences with its unique jazz sound.

 

Harlem Gospel Choir -Monday Feb. 9, 2009,  7 p.m.

The internationally-renowned Gospel Choir will share its joy of faith  through music with an  historic performance at the CAC. Chosen earlier this year to perform at a "Concert of Hope" for Pope Benedict XVI at Yankee Stadium, the choir travels the world touching thousands with its powerful musical ministry.

  
David Holt Friday, March 28, 2009, 7 p.m. 
From songs and tales we know by heart to tunes and stories passed down through generations, this four-time Grammy winner has performed with guitar legends Doc Watson and Chet Atkins, mining the musical history of America's back roads and front porches to present unique performances both authentic and heartfelt.
