Use art to build your employee or volunteer team.  Choose from one of the following programs which foster creative thinking and group problem solving, while increasing participants’ comfort with the visual arts and familiarity with our community’s center for visual arts. Compared to professional development opportunities priced at $100 per person or more, CAC team activities are very affordable, beginning at $35 each. Without additional expense of out of town travel, activities require only a couple of hours away from workplace.  Just show up—No preparation needed.  Ask about venue for staff meeting and/or lunch meeting coupled with activity.

Self-Portrait Mask—Learn how employees see themselves and others during hour long session guiding participants through hand building process. Shape natural, terra cotta clay into a collection of individual facial features reflecting self. Instructor works with participants to examine features and suggest adjustments, both symbolic and metaphoric. Available for groups up to18.

Glass Fusing—Create beautiful, fused-glass plate(s), selecting favorite colors of glass pieces to adhere in desired patterns on a clear base.  Upon completion (1-1.5 hour session), creations are kiln-formed (slumped) at the CAC prior to delivery at your workplace. Available for groups up to 20.

Team Sculpture--Use insulation foam to create a three-dimensional relief sculpture, constructing shapes from insulation foam, painted with acrylics and assembled for completion.  Half day workshop available for groups up to 20.
