ARTWORKS 2023
The 29th annual ArtWorks Exhibition is an exhibit of art created by area students in pre-kindergarten through high school. The Cultural Activities Center in Temple, TX, makes its galleries available to young artists from Central Texas schools for this exhibit, working with school art programs in support of arts education. As you go through your school year, please collect samples of a variety of art projects to display the range of your students’ talents.
For information about participation in this exhibit, please contact:
Lindsay Gabriel, Visual Arts Coordinator at lgabriel@cacARTS.org or call 254-773-9926.
We sincerely hope that you will join us for this exhibition as we celebrate the accomplishments of our children through their art. We encourage all schools to use this opportunity as a springboard for group discussions about art and cultural expression and to enrich curriculum through art education.
Sincerely,
Lindsay Gabriel
Visual Arts Coordinator
Our walls in the downstairs galleries have been renovated. Thanks to a grant from the E. R. Carpenter Foundation, we are able to update the flooring and walls throughout our gallery spaces. We reopened the galleries with an exciting set of exhibits to showcase the facility's ability to show the artwork of local and regional artists.
The Cultural Activities Center exhibits artwork from regional artists in a variety of mediums. The galleries are open during business hours and on weekends during events for the public to view for FREE. The exhibits are changed out approximately every 6 weeks.
Please check the website and plan to stop in for a visit to see the exhibits. Join the fun at the CAC.
